We’re being invited to get behind England this month as the delayed UEFA European Football Championships finally get underway.
The White Horse Inn has created a dedicated ‘Ruddington Fan Park’ featuring large outdoor screens for COVID safe viewing of all the big matches during the EURO 2021 tournament. However, booking a table as soon as possible is strongly advised because the Church Street venue expects very high demand – especially during the England games.
Pub owner Andy Hunt says: “After everything we’ve been through we need good events like this – all the village together in one place cheering on England is what we are looking to do. We can’t wait!”
Andy promises it will all be run within the current Government Coronavirus guidelines. “Everyone will have their own designated tables and we will be offering table service. We’ll have 12 metre square screens that people will be able to see from any point of the car park or beer garden. Loads of things are planned like live music, prize giveaways and BBQs and Pizzas. Booking is essential. Come on England!”
